Marco Żebrowski (born in 1992 in Eberbach am Neckar) is an artist and designer living in Berlin whose thoughts lie in the observation of nature. His source of inspiration is the forest – a place where time slows down, standards shift and quiet change takes place.
Landscapes, biotopes, old walls and ruins are shared environments and spaces of experience that carry stories of people and places within. Żebrowski's works are created through exploring places, encounters with people, their crafts and their culture, through observation, learning and documenting together on site.
Materials, landscapes and old structures are recorded and designed in an artistically narrative way. Paintings, furniture and room installations merge into objects and spaces that oscillate between intimacy and elementarity – an invitation to touch, pause and consciously perceive.
